Who to contact

At Macquarie postgraduate students and programs are administered by several different areas. It is important that students contact the correct section

• Student Enquiry Service (SES) is the first point of contact for all student enquiries, except for International students who should visit the Macquarie International enquiries counter

• Postgraduate Studies Section (PGS) provides administration of postgraduate coursework students

• Higher Degree Research Office (HDRO) provides administration of research students

• Macquarie International (MI) provides administration of International studentResearch Office (HDROHDRO) provides administration of research students

• Macquarie International (MI) provides administration of International studentResearch Office (HDRO) provides administration of research students

• Macquarie International (MI) provides administration of International students.

All Postgraduate Coursework Applicants 

All Postgraduate coursework degrees are delivered through the Graduate Accounting and Commerce Centre. Students should direct any coursework related enquiries there.

Domestic Postgraduate Coursework Applicants

You must apply through UAC. Contact the Student Enquiry Centre for a hard copy of the application form, or you can get information and apply by the web at the UAC website.

International Postgraduate Coursework Applicants

International students should contact Macquarie International regarding admission to Macquarie University.

All Higher Degree Research Applicants 

Prospective Research Degree Students should investigate the Department's Research pages and the staff research interests of the Department to ensure there are staff to supervise the proposed research.

They should also contact the Department's Research Degree Co-ordinator Professor Greg Elliott for discussion prior to filling out an application.

Domestic Postgraduate Research Degree Applicants

Most information that you require can be obtained from the Higher Degree Research Office Booklet. From this source, and where available, online, you can access information on admission and entry requirements, forms & supporting document requirements, fees and scholarships.

EFS Scholarship information is available within the postgraduate information on this EFS site.

Applicants for research degrees are expected to investigate the Division Research areas and the appropriate Department websites and contact potential staff supervisors in their areas of interest prior to completing their application.

Applications are typically reviewed from October for students starting in the following year.
