Answers to common questions regarding the assignment/Internet Project:

1. You can use Dreamweaver, Frontpage or similar to create your web pages.
   
   
2. 'Cookies' are not covered in this course.
   
   
3. There is no set length for Part A, provided all points and relevant issues addressed, and all tasks completed. A clear and concise answer is better than a long answer that is very repetitive.
   
   
4. The web page and database should relate to the same company, but the database does not need to be connected/linked to the web page.
   
   
5. Assessment Criteria include the following: 
   
   1. web page and database working correctly
   2. points/issues addressed adequately and completely in the form of a report
   3. good business planning
   4. good presentation of report
      
   5. good web design
      
      
6. You can hand your work in on CDs (or disks) together with a hard copy (printout) of your report.
   
   
7. There may be a question on this work in the exam .
   
   
8. The assignment will be marked in Internet Explorer (IE). You should try to ensure that all your web pages work in IE.
   
   
9. In the database exercise there is a group id field. This is not required for the assignment/project as it would have the same value for every record. If appropriate you can use a category id field, otherwise do not include it.
