Department of Business

Business Administration

Business administration provides a broad and comprehensive preparation for students wishing to pursue a career in business management without undertaking a full specialisation in such subject areas as accounting or economics. In the program, students are taught all the business skills upon which modern management rely.

There are two undergraduate bachelor degrees. They are the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and the BBA (International Studies). Each of these degrees may be completed in three years of full-time study. To transfer from another Bachelor degree at Macquarie university, a student must acquire at least 12 credit points and a GPA of 2.5.

Most double degrees can be completed in a minimum of four years of full-time study. The BBA LLB requires five years of full-time study.

For a comprehensive list of these degrees and all others on offer within the department, visit the Degrees on Offer page.
